The whole school took part in a lovely Jubilee Day celebration on the last Thursday of term 5, which involved learning all about Queen Elizabeth II’s life, reign, and impact- followed by a super special lunch and an afternoon tea party where some of our local senior citizens joined us to have a sing-song and impromptu conga line! Take a look at the lovely photos from the day below!
“It was a real pleasure to come and have such a delicious tea with you all…”
“As a retired primary school teacher myself I enjoyed being back on school premises again and noted how well behaved and polite your children are.”
“Thank you so much for inviting us to the celebration tea party- it was a really wonderful occasion for us all…”
“You all put in so much work and organisation to provide a memorable afternoon.”
And as a final thanks to Mr Hyder for all his amazing work putting up all of the decorations over the course of the week for the Jubilee Tea Party and special lunch in the hall- all of the children, staff, and visitors loved all of the bright colours and waving bunting!
