Medical & Allergy Information
At Mereworth Community Primary, we understand that some children have medical needs or allergies that require careful planning and clear communication. If your child has asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or any other medical condition, or if they have a diagnosed allergy (including food allergies), please inform the school as early as possible and provide up-to-date medical details from your GP or specialist. Where appropriate, we will work with you to develop a clear care plan, including emergency procedures and any medication arrangements. Please also let us know about changes to symptoms, triggers, or prescribed treatment, and ensure any required medication is supplied in line with school guidance. If your child has an allergy, we will take reasonable steps to reduce risk in school, including being mindful of food provided during the school day and at events. For any concerns, questions, or to discuss specific needs, please contact the school office so we can support your child safely and appropriately.
