Our Active Uniform:

 Autumn/Winter:

 White polo shirt with short sleeves.
 Mereworth school round-neck jumper, cardigan or fleece.
 Plain black joggers/leggings/cotton shorts (no flares or bootcut).
 Plain black socks.
 Plain black trainers (no plimsolls).

 Summer:

 White polo shirt with short sleeves.
 Mereworth school round-neck jumper, cardigan or fleece.
 Plain black cotton shorts or green gingham shorts/playsuit/dress with cycling shorts underneath.
 Plain white socks.
 Plain black trainers (no plimsolls).

 Outerwear:

 Book bag/rucksack.
 Waterproof/warm coat.
 Wellington boots and waterproof trousers.
 All in one waterproof for Forest School (Year R only).

Additional uniform expectations:

 PE kits are not required (house colour sports bibs will be provided for inter-house competitions).
 Clothing and trainers must be plain black with no logos, branding or colour accents.
 Children with hair longer than shoulder length must wear it tied back.
 Long fringes must be clipped or tied back.
 Hair accessories should be green or black.
 Hairstyles featuring shaved letters/logos/patterns/unnatural dye colours/extensions etc. are not permitted. 
 No jewellery except small stud earrings, which your child must be able to remove themselves for PE.

 Please note: The following are not permitted in school at any time, for any reason:

 Smart watches. 
 Make-up, face-paint, fake tan, body glitter, tattoos, fake eyelashes and similar. 
 Nail varnish/gel nails, acrylic/fake nails, nail art.
